PROGRESS REPORT

Progress Report of the Laboratory (February-October 2022)

From February to October 2022, the Laboratory provided therapeutic services to 14 children and their parents (a total of 12 families).

During this period, the Laboratory has provided:

  • 2.307 hours of therapeutic sessions
  • 18 hours of assessment of children with autism spectrum disorder.
  • 25 hours of home programming
  • 119 Parental counseling
  • 110 hours of supervision of therapists

Treatments are provided within the following time intervals: Monday 9:00-19:30, Tuesday 9:00-20:30, Wednesday 9:00-20:00, Thursday 9:00-20:00, and Friday 9:00-20:00.

The laboratory is equipped by 13 highly qualified therapists (5 psychologists and 8 special educators) who offer up-to-date assessment, diagnostic, therapeutic, and educational services to children with ASD. The founder and Executive Director of the laboratory, Professor Angeliki Gena, provides family counseling and psychoeducation to the families of children with ASD. Additionally, Petros Galanis, a special educator belonging to the Laboratory and Teaching Staff of the Department, provides administrative and research work, Mrs. Voutsadaki, a philologist, provides 15 hours a month of administrative work, and Mrs. Basdeki, a special educator, has undertaken the updating of the website and the promotion of the work of the Laboratory.
